As an artist, I have always regarded Paul Klee as a model and often purchase wall calendars with less familiar but excellent examples of his works. This calendar does NOT provide complete images but instead has close-up views (details) of sections the editor found worthwhile. There is nothing really wrong in this, for a calendar, and the squared details are good ones. A nice touch is a cropped section within the blank calendar day, sometimes a different area of the work than in the featured square. The dated areas cover the main religious holidays, particularly Hindustani, and various international commemorations and holidays; since this calendar comes from London, Coronation Day is given along with special days in Great Britain and Commonwealth nations. Thus, for this Yank, the calendar provides visual and textual amusement.
